Several years ago NBMOG acquired an impressive Arts & Crafts style vase with fired enamel decoration showing a mounted knight on the obverse and a castle on the reverse. The vase is extremely heavy. The walls measure almost 3/8" thick. The rim has a distinctive, chip-textured surface covered, like the walls, with fired enamel paint (see illustration to lower left.) The interior of the vase is painted white, while the glass itself appears to be colorless. Maker unknown. Suggestions welcome.
